Waterfront Rescue Mission believes that caring for the poor and homeless is not an option; it is a mandate from the Lord. Since its founding in 1949, the Mission has been a place where those who have nothing left can find hope and experience the transforming power of Jesus Christ.

What began as a refuge for wayward fishermen has grown into full-service Missions in two cities that provide faith-based rescue and recovery programs that are lifting people out of homelessness, poverty, and addiction. Waterfront Rescue Mission operates 10 locations along the Gulf Coast, including seven Thrift Stores.
