Union Gospel Mission provides more than 200,000 meals a year to those experiencing homelessness and in need. In addition to meals, the Mission provides food boxes, clothing, hygiene items, showers, referral services and cold weather shelter.
The Search + Rescue van goes to homeless camps in the greater Portland area to provide basics, such as food, coffee, socks and hygiene items. Search + Rescue rekindles hope by providing resources, consistent weekly contact and prayer.
Our goal is to provide the basic life essentials to help people survive life on the streets while giving them the help and resources they need to move out of homelessness into housing and an abundant and healthy life.
