The Mid-South Food Bank works to fight hunger through the efficient collection and distribution of wholesome food, and through education and advocacy. Serving nearly 300 charitable feeding programs in 31 Mid-South counties, the Mid-South Food Bank fights hunger by efficiently collecting and distributing wholesome food, while educating the community about the problem of hunger and advocating on behalf of hungry people. Every week, 12,400 people rely on food from Mid-South Food Bank for their very next meal; 46 percent of them are children under the age of 18. Mid-South Food Bank is a member of Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization.
