By providing core services and utilizing area resources already in place, Latrobe Street Mission equips the homeless to move from survival to success.

Do you know what homelessness looks like in the Mid-Ohio Valley? At Latrobe Street Mission, it looks like a mom and a baby who fell on hard times and found themselves on the streets. Or a family that just a few months ago had what others deemed “a good life.” It looks like a veteran who got lost in the system and had nowhere else to go. Here at Latrobe Street Mission, one thing is constant – the ever-changing face of homelessness. 

Men, women, children, families….old, young, retired, unemployed, veterans…they are all people with a story and set of circumstances that just might surprise you as you discover that you have more in common than you think.

In eight weeks or less, residents are equipped to address the circumstances behind their crisis and guided as they seek resources to address their unique situation. When core services are delivered by passionate staff and volunteers, residents begin to experience life change.
