The Food Basket was founded in 2002 to meet the growing demand for supplemental food among families in Southern Brazoria County.
Our mission is to put God’s Word
– “Feed My Sheep” – into action, and to bolster those with food insecurity.
Our vision is for The Food Basket to be a community which works together to provide physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally for all clients.
We are a local food pantry serving Southern Brazoria County. We are open Tuesday and Saturday mornings from 8-10 a,m.
We serve clients in the Brazosport Area of Clute, Richwood, and Lake Jackson area. Clients in need are able to come to our agency 1 time per week with the proper documentation
