Good Samaritan Ministries of Northeast Georgia, LLC exists to assist and minister to people and families who are in need, primarily through the distribution of food. We also assist with furniture (when available), job placement training, and health screening. Director, Alvin Bagwell, shares his love and desire of this ministry to help individuals and families see God’s ultimate commandment.
Good Samaritan allows individuals and families to register for food monthly at the designated times. All individuals will complete an application and obtain guidance through a counselor to evaluate the specific needs. Counselors share the love of Jesus Christ with all individuals seeking assistance. Individuals who qualify for our food ministry receive a large “box of food,” which includes non-perishables, bread, desserts, fresh vegetables, meats, dairy products, fruits and drinks. One “box of food” is given every 30 days per client unless an emergency arises within the family. All clients are encouraged to visit the food bank during the 30 day period as often as needed to receive breads, sweets, fruits and vegetables which are freely given.
