Central Iowa Shelter & Services is a proud member of the Des Moines Area Religious Council (DMARC) Food Pantry network. The DMARC Food Pantry Network consists of 14 separate partner food pantries, located in West Des Monies, Ankeny, Johnston, Urbandale, Clive, and eight sites in Des Moines, as well as the DMARC Mobile Food Pantry. In 2017, the DMARC Food Pantry Network assisted more than 46,000 individuals in Greater Des Moines.
Individuals can access the food pantry once per calendar month and receive a 3-day food supply for each member of their family.
