Would you give up a meal to feed your pet? You don’t have to!
Puget Sound Pet Food Bank provides food, treats & supplies for pets in need.

Puget Sound Food Bank opened in January of 2013 as CSL-Tacoma Pet Food Bank, with the goal of assisting homeless and low income pet owners in the greater Tacoma and South King County area who need help taking care of their pets. To our knowledge, we are the only strictly-pet-food bank in the area, the need is great, and the word is spreading fast. We have grown rapidly from a “neighborhood pet food bank” and are now serving clients from Bonney Lake to Lakewood, Graham, Spanaway and neighboring communities. We are serving an average of 50-55 families each Saturday, distributing approximately 2,500 pounds of dog and cat kibble, and 650 cans of canned food each month. We operate entirely on donations and are staffed by a small group of dedicated volunteers, with no salaried staff.
In 2015, we reorganized as a separate non-profit 501(c)3 organization under the name Puget Sound Pet Food Bank, and moved to a larger location on Sixth Ave. in Tacoma. We’ve also opened an additional location in Spanaway.
In 2016, we hosted a successful auction fundraiser, “Nibble for Kibble.” We are hosting “Nibble for Kibble II: Puttin’ on the Pets” on June 3rd, 2017, at Freighthouse Square.
