WHAT IS NORTHSIDE THREADS CLOTHING CLOSET? 

Northside Threads is a clothing closet that is housed at the Northside Family Engagement Center which is a State and Federal Program. Northside Threads exists to support Northside families and provide clothing to students enrolled in Northside schools in an effort to help children be present more days in school where they can benefit from a Northside education. Northside Threads also creates opportunity for students, staff, families, and community members to give back by volunteering and donating.

How Can a Northside Family or Student Use the Clothing Closet? 

If a Northside student or family needs help with clothing all they need to do is call their campus and tell their need to the counselor. The counselor will create the referral for the family and then the family can come to Northside Threads and use the closet. Each Northside enrolled student inluded in the referral is elgible to get 5 gently used tops, 5 gently used bottoms, 5 brand new socks, and 5 brand new underwear.

We are currently open and scheduling families by appointment only to come into Threads to select clothes.
