Rauschenbusch Metro Ministries

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Rauschenbusch Metro Ministries (RMM) will be modifying its process for distributing winter clothing this year.  See below for updated hours and procedures.

CLOTHING DISTRIBUTION DAYS & TIMES

Mondays, 10:15 AM (November – March)

The first day of clothing distribution will be Monday, November 2, 2020.  Final clothing distribution will be March 29, 2021.  No distributions on December

DISTRIBUTION PROCEDURES

• RMM will only be able to serve the first 30 individuals who arrive each Monday.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but due to fewer staff/volunteers and to ensure social distancing, we will only be able to accommodate 30 visitors each week.  Visitors can only one Monday per month.
• Orders will be taken at the door at 10:15, and visitors will be given a confirmation time to return to get bagged clothing.  Unfortunately, no one will be able to enter the building or shop for clothing this year.  All orders must be made in person at the door of Metro Baptist Church on the day of distribution and cannot be made over the phone or online. RMM will do our best to fulfill orders made at the door, based on clothing inventory.
• ID requested, but no referral necessary.  Everyone requesting clothing will be asked to present a photo ID with name on it.  Any photo ID will do.  No referral is necessary.
• Visitors will only be able to get ONE coat per season.  In order to ensure a coat for as many people as possible for those who need one, we are If RMM is able to secure more coats in early 2021, we will offer a second coat between January and March.
