Where

Founded in 1982, the Arvada Food Bank now known as Community Table began distributing food to hungry families out of a small house. Now in our 38th year, we have grown to be the largest emergency food and human service provider in Northern Jefferson County serving 100 square miles and the communities of Arvada, Golden, Edgewater, Lakeside, Mountain View, Westminster and Wheat Ridge.

Although providing food is still our core, our current slate of programs for those in need now extends far beyond our humble beginnings as a food pantry. In 2014, we added a “hand up” through Bridges to Opportunity that provides emergency assistance and a full range of self-sufficiency programs and resources. In 2018, we began hosting Living Well Showers for homeless people, and in 2019, we opened an onsite health clinic in partnership with the Physician Assistant Program at Red Rocks Community College.
